Exciting Opportunity for a Pastoral and Inclusion Support Officer – Starting September 2025

Protocol Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school to find a dedicated Pastoral and Inclusion Support Officer to join their pastoral team from September 2025. This role is perfect for someone with experience in education, youth work, or community support, who is committed to making a real difference in students' lives.

The pastoral team plays a key role in school life, ensuring that every student feels supported, valued, and ready to achieve their full potential. About The Role:
As a Pastoral and Inclusion Support Officer, you’ll:
- Work alongside the Pastoral and Inclusion team to support students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
- Manage student behaviour and attendance issues in line with school policy.
- Observe, support, and monitor targeted students to ensure positive progress.
- Liaise with the Attendance Team and Wellbeing Lead to provide joined-up support.
- Manage and follow up on sanctions, rewards, and student attendance.
- Facilitate conflict resolution meetings between staff and students when required.
- Organise and manage work for students who are absent or excluded.
- Support the smooth running of the Pastoral and Inclusion system, stepping in where needed to maintain consistency.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
