About the role
This is a 3-day-a-week teaching role supporting a small class of pupils with complex communication and sensory needs. The school provides a tailored curriculum and strong multi-agency support, and staff are trusted to build meaningful relationships and deliver real progress—at the pace that works for each pupil.
What you’ll be doing

Planning and delivering adapted lessons for a small, consistent group

Working closely with TAs and therapists to meet individual needs

Creating calm, predictable routines that support pupil confidence

QTS and experience in SEND, ideally ASC

Confidence working with pupils with communication or sensory needs

Patience, flexibility, and the ability to build trust through consistency
