Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to reception-aged children
  • Plan and prepare educational activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support the overall development of students

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with early years or reception-aged children
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for early years education and child development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with young children in a school setting. The working hours are full-time, and the teacher will be required to adhere to school policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
