The Nursery Nurse Who Came to Play
Once upon a time, in a cheerful little nusery filled with laughter and crayons, the children were busy building towers, splashing in the water tray and pretending to be dinosuars.
It was just an ordinary morning ... until ...
DING DONG!
There was a knock at the door.
And who should be standing there?
Not a tiger ...
But a Nursery Nurse!
A warm, smiley, wonderful Supply Nursery Nurse, ready for adventure!
"Can I come in and play?" she asked.
"Oh yes, please!" said the children and staff.
"We've got paint, puzzles, songs, and snack time!"
So, the nursery nurse same in and got straight to work.
She helped the children build castles out of blocks.
She read stories with all the best voices.
She sang "Wind the Bobbin Up" and danced with ribbon sticks.
She cuddled the child who missed home and made the smile again.
The Nursery was filled with joy.
The children learned, laughted and listened.
The Nursery Nurse wasn't just playing she was:
- Supporting early learning development.
- Encouraging imagination and independence.
- Helping children grow in confidence and kindness.
And at the end of the day, the children said,
"Will you come back tomorrow?"
"Well" said the Nursery Nurse,
"I go wherever I'm needed but I always bring stories, songs and smiles"
She waved goodbye, her heart full, knowing she'd made a real difference.
