Are you an experienced Nursery Manager with a passion for early childhood education? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our thriving nursery in LS17. We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead a talented team, ensuring the highest standard of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the nursery team, ensuring they provide excellent care and learning experiences for the children.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement educational programmes in line with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring effective communication and a positive, supportive environment.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Support staff training and development, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Regularly assess and monitor the quality of care and education, implementing improvements where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing nurseries.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with children in an early years or childcare setting.
  • Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for providing the highest quality care and education for children.
