Nursery Assistant – Central London

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: £85–£100 per day (PAYE, weekly)
We’re working with a small, well-regarded nursery in Central London looking to appoint a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Assistant from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and is seeking a long-term role within a warm, supportive environment.
The nursery prides itself on its caring ethos, strong staff relationships, and child-led approach. You’ll be working closely with a small team to create a safe, engaging space where young children can thrive.
Key responsibilities:

Supporting the daily routines across all age groups (0–4 years)

Creating a calm, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Building strong relationships with children, staff, and families

Assisting with observations, planning, and developmental support

Helping maintain a clean, organised, and safe nursery space
The ideal candidate:

Has experience in a nursery or early years setting (essential)

Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred but not essential)

Brings patience, warmth, and a professional attitude to their work

Is confident supporting children’s learning and wellbeing

Values teamwork and clear communication
