Nursery Support Assistant – 2–4 Year Olds

East Bristol | Lovely Local Nursery
Wednesday–Friday | ⏰ 8:30am–3:30pm

Love muddy puddles, snack time stories, and tiny triumphs? You're in the right place.

A friendly nursery in East Bristol is on the lookout for a warm, hands-on Nursery Support Assistant to work with their energetic and curious 2–4 year olds, three days a week. If you’ve got experience in EYFS, even in a voluntary or informal setting, this could be a perfect fit.

No qualification? No problem, though it’s a bonus if you have one!

Your week:

  • Wednesday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

  • Term-time role with long-term potential

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting little learners through routines, play, and early development

  • Helping with toileting, snack times, story time and nap time

  • Encouraging language, independence, and those all-important social skills

  • Teaming up with a lovely nursery staff who’ll help you settle right in

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with early years (nursery, EYFS, or toddler groups)

  • A kind, patient, and playful approach

  • Confidence supporting children through transitions and routines

  • Early years qualification is helpful—but not essential

With Protocol Education, you’ll get:

  • Weekly PAYE pay—no umbrella company nonsense

  • Free CPD including Early Years, Safeguarding, and Thrive training

  • Friendly consultant support every step of the way

  • A role in a setting where you’re genuinely appreciated
