We’re looking for a passionate Music Teacher to join a lively secondary school in Barnet this September. You’ll inspire students to explore their creativity, develop performance skills, and appreciate music from all genres and cultures.

With dedicated music facilities and a strong commitment to the arts, this school is the perfect stage for your teaching talents.


Your role will include:

  • Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional)

  • Leading practical lessons in performance, composition, and music theory

  • Supporting extracurricular music groups, concerts, and school productions

  • Encouraging students to explore music as both an art and a skill


We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold QTS and have experience teaching Music in UK secondary schools

  • Can inspire confidence in students of all musical abilities

  • Have strong instrumental, vocal, or composition skills

  • Enjoy fostering a positive and inclusive musical environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
