We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Telford, Shropshire, currently seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed MFL teacher to contribute to a school that values language learning, cultural awareness, and student engagement.

About the Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. There may also be an opportunity to teach Key Stage 5, depending on your experience. You’ll be joining a supportive department where collaboration and creative teaching are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Spanish, aligned with the national curriculum

  • Support student progress through assessment, feedback, and differentiation

  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages language learning

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

  • Engage in the wider school community through events, clubs, or enrichment activities

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential)

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language education

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A commitment to high expectations and inclusive learning
