MFL Teacher – Spanish

We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Telford, Shropshire, currently seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed MFL teacher to contribute to a school that values language learning, cultural awareness, and student engagement.
About the Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. There may also be an opportunity to teach Key Stage 5, depending on your experience. You’ll be joining a supportive department where collaboration and creative teaching are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Spanish, aligned with the national curriculum

Support student progress through assessment, feedback, and differentiation

Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages language learning

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

Engage in the wider school community through events, clubs, or enrichment activities
Ideal Candidate
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential)

Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language education

Excellent communication and classroom management skills
