Job Title: Maths Teacher

Location: Tower Hamlets 

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: Paid to scale

Job Duties:

  • Teach Mathematics to students following the curriculum guidelines
  • Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Evaluate and grade students' classwork, assignments, and papers
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Mathematics curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience as a Maths Teacher

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Maths Teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a classroom setting
  • Full-time hours, typically Monday to Friday
  • Potential for extra-curricular activities or parent meetings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
