Job Title: Maths Specialist – Full-Time

About the role

Are you passionate about numbers and problem-solving? We’re looking for a confident Maths Specialist to join a secondary school in Wolverhampton.

You don’t need QTS for this role — if you’ve got strong experience teaching, tutoring, or supporting students in Maths, this could be a brilliant step for you. You’ll help pupils develop their confidence, improve exam outcomes, and maybe even discover a love for algebra along the way!

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering engaging and interactive Maths lessons up to GCSE level

  • Supporting pupils to grasp tricky concepts and build confidence

  • Assisting with exam preparation and targeted interventions

  • Creating a positive, supportive classroom environment

What we’re looking for

  • Strong Maths knowledge with experience supporting KS3 and KS4 students

  • Previous experience in a classroom, tutoring, or mentoring setting

  • Confident behaviour management and communication skills

  • A proactive, adaptable approach to teaching and learning
