We’re working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Redcar seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their team from September. You’ll be delivering engaging, accessible lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of all abilities to build confidence and unlock their potential.


What the role involves:

  • Planning and delivering Maths lessons from Year 7 through to GCSE
  • Supporting pupils through differentiated strategies and interventions
  • Contributing to department planning, assessments, and school life
  • Building strong, respectful relationships with pupils and staff
  • Creating a calm, focused classroom where learning comes first

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
  • Solid classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Passion for helping every student succeed—whether they love algebra or dread long division
  • A team player ready to bring ideas, energy, and consistency

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
