Maths Education Opportunities - North Somerset

Protocol Education are recruiting confident and proactive Maths educators to support secondary schools across North Somerset (we also have roles across South Bristol). You’ll step into the classroom either as Cover Supervisors or Maths Tutors, delivering pre-planned maths lessons and ensuring students stay motivated, supported, and on track with their learning. This role is ideal for Maths students and graduates looking to gain valuable experience in the education sector that will support future career progression.

What the job looks like:

  • Confidently delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring strong ratios of student engagement and completion.
  • Working with either full classes of students, small groups of students, or 1:1
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies, with both consistency and warmth.
  • Supporting students with professionalism, encouragement and patience.
  • Collecting and organising completed work for the use of the classroom teacher.
  • Reporting back on learning progress and behaviour for the use of the classroom teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
