Your Day-to-Day:

One-to-One Support – Build a trusted relationship with the pupil, creating calm, connection, and a sense of security in the classroom.

Personal Care – Provide respectful, dignified support with personal care needs when required.

Communication Boost – Use tools like PECS, Makaton or other non-verbal strategies to help the child express themselves and connect with learning.

Grow Their Independence – Encourage curiosity and confidence, helping them take small steps that lead to big progress.

Team Effort – Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents to create a tailored support plan that really works.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
