Our client, a forward-thinking school with a strong community ethos, is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students’ wellbeing and maintaining a safe and enjoyable lunchtime environment.
About the Role:

Supervise students during lunch breaks to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour.

Support dining arrangements, helping pupils access lunch provision smoothly and fairly.

Encourage good manners and respectful behaviour in the dining hall and playground.

Intervene where necessary to manage behaviour and apply the school’s policies consistently.

Ensure pupils keep eating areas clean and tidy.
-
Assist with setting up dining areas, serving food, and providing efficient lunchtime service.

Operate a cashless till and carry out basic cleaning tasks as directed.

Work closely with the catering and operations team to ensure a safe and enjoyable lunchtime for all pupils.
What We’re Looking For:

Right to work in the UK.

GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
-
Experience supervising or working with children, ideally in a school setting.

Strong interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
-
Ability to support positive behaviour management and deal with minor incidents.

Organised, efficient, and able to work at pace.
-
Friendly, caring, and able to act as a positive role model.
-
Relevant Health & Safety or Food Hygiene qualifications (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
