Calling all SEND superheroes! ♀️♂️
Ready to lead a nurturing space where every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn?
We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Level 4 Teaching Assistant to run a dedicated SEND hub supporting eight wonderful children with EHCPs. This full-time role begins in September and offers the chance to truly change lives – every single day.
What you'll be doing:
You’ll be the heartbeat of the school’s SEND hub – a calm, structured space designed to help children feel secure and able to thrive. Supporting eight pupils with EHCPs, you’ll take the lead in creating a learning environment that celebrates progress, no matter how big or small.
Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and specialists, you’ll:
-
Plan and deliver personalised activities that meet each child’s needs
-
Support behaviour, emotional regulation, and confidence building
-
Promote positive relationships and help children develop social and life skills
-
Adapt the curriculum into manageable, meaningful chunks
-
Be a consistent, trusted adult that pupils can rely on every day
This is more than a classroom role – it’s a chance to make a deep, lasting impact in a close-knit setting where your efforts will be seen and valued.
What we’re looking for:
✅ SEND experience is a must – you’ll understand the individual challenges and joys
✅ Minimum of 2 years' experience in UK schools – you’ve got the foundations sorted
✅ Curriculum confidence – you know your stuff and how to tailor it effectively
✅ Leadership within the hub – you’re organised, calm, and unflappable
You won’t be applying to the school directly – you’ll join the supportive team at Protocol Education, where we match passionate educators with the right roles and provide ongoing care, communication, and community.
