We’re supporting a fantastic specialist school in South Tyneside that caters for children with a wide range of additional needs. They’re looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September, someone who can combine classroom support with leading interventions and small-group learning.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND in the classroom and during activities

  • Leading small-group interventions and 1:1 support where needed

  • Assisting teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation

  • Helping children with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation

What we’re looking for:

  • Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience supporting children with SEND (autism, SEMH, or complex needs desirable)

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A calm, flexible, and positive approach
