The Role

We’re seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across a range of needs, helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment. You’ll be part of a collaborative SEND team, making a real difference to children’s daily experiences and long-term progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with autism and additional needs

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons across learning pathways

  • Support pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation

  • Promote independence and resilience in line with the school’s values

  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to provide joined-up support

  • Contribute to behaviour support strategies and positive reinforcement

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)

  • Have prior experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally autism and complex needs

  • Are patient, adaptable, and empathetic with a proactive approach

  • Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues

  • Share a commitment to inclusion and removing barriers to learning
