Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Wakefield
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Salary: £90–£105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Wakefield. The role involves supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and tailored support.
This is a long-term role with the potential to continue for the full academic year.
What You’ll Be Doing

Providing in-class support for individuals and small groups

Helping to plan and deliver differentiated learning activities

Supporting pupils with additional needs (including SEN)

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Working closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school team
About You

Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)

Recent classroom experience in a UK primary setting

Confident supporting pupils across ability levels

A calm, patient, and flexible approach

DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
