Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering educational activities and supporting the learning of students.
- Provide one-to-one support to students with additional needs or those requiring extra help.
- Help create a positive learning environment by engaging with students and promoting educational development.
- Support classroom management and behaviour by implementing strategies to encourage positive student conduct.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources for lessons.
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Education:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the national curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a classroom setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- May involve assisting students with personal care needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
