Job Duties:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities
  • Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans and educational materials
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with student assessments and progress monitoring

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Valid DBS check

Education:

Minimum Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
  • Basic understanding of child development and learning processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Experience working with SEN students

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment, supporting classroom activities and interacting with students. The work is typically carried out during school hours on weekdays.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
