Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bexleyheath. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to the classroom teacher and help create a positive learning environment for students.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the teacher in preparing lesson materials.
  • Support individual students or small groups with their learning.
  • Promote positive behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Help with classroom management and organisation.
  • Assist in monitoring and assessing student progress.

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
  • Understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Strong organisational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be advantageous.
  • First Aid certification.
