Salary: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

We’re working with a fantastic specialist setting in South Tyneside supporting pupils aged 3–16 with a wide range of additional needs. They’re looking for a skilled, confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant who can bring both structure and heart to the classroom.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting learning in the classroom, including small groups and 1:1 interventions

Helping deliver targeted academic and personal development activities
-
Acting as a key adult—building strong, trusted relationships with pupils

Supporting behaviour using a consistent, pupil-centred approach

Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to secure positive outcomes
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds a recognised Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent experience

Has experience in a specialist or mainstream setting with SEN pupils
-
Brings a calm, confident, and proactive approach to every situation

Is passionate about inclusion and committed to every pupil’s progress
