Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Spital Tongues, Newcastle

Location: Spital Tongues, Newcastle
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £85–£100 per day (PAYE, no umbrella!)

Got a heart for early years and a knack for turning everyday moments into learning adventures? A welcoming primary school in the heart of Newcastle is seeking a kind, confident Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their nurturing EYFS team this September.

About the school:

This school is known for its welcoming ethos, strong pastoral care, and child-first approach. The nursery offers a calm, creative environment where children are encouraged to be curious, confident, and kind from day one.

With small group sizes, excellent resources, and a passionate teaching team, the nursery gives practitioners the time and tools to really focus on what matters: building brilliant relationships and supporting each child’s unique journey.

It’s a role where your voice will be heard, your experience valued, and your enthusiasm for early years truly appreciated.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting and extending children’s development through play and structured activities

  • Contributing to planning, observations, and assessments in line with EYFS

  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

  • Working in partnership with parents, carers, and the wider school team

  • Helping little ones grow in confidence, independence, and love of learning

What we’re looking for:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years

  • Experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting

  • A warm, engaging approach with excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of EYFS framework and child development

  • Someone who’s happy to sing silly songs, read stories with gusto, and clean glitter off everything!

Why work with Protocol Education?

  • Weekly pay through PAYE: no umbrella nonsense

  • FREE access to our online CPD Academy, including EYFS updates and Thrive training

  • Local consultant support (yes, we answer the phone!)

  • Opportunities across mainstream, independent, and SEND settings

  • Fast, simple registration so you can get started quickly

Not Thrive trained yet? We’ll cover it—because schools love it, and it’ll give your CV an extra sparkle.
