Do you hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and have a passion for helping little learners thrive? A primary school in Chapel House is looking for a dedicated EYFS Support Assistant to join their welcoming early years team.
This role is all about supporting children in their very first years of school & creating safe, stimulating environments where curiosity, independence, and confidence can grow.
The school has a strong reputation for inclusion and nurturing support & has an onsite car park and excellent travel links. The EYFS team is creative, collaborative, and committed to giving every child the best possible start to school life.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting children aged 2–5 in Nursery and Reception.

Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions in phonics, speech & language, and early maths.

Helping children settle into routines, regulate emotions, and build social skills.

Creating playful, engaging activities that bring learning to life.

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt activities for children with additional needs.
About you:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

Previous experience in a nursery or EYFS classroom.

Patient, caring, and proactive, with a real enthusiasm for early childhood development.

Confident supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or EAL is a bonus.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
