Help shape the very start of learning

We’re looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in Wakefield. You’ll play a key role in supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them build the social, emotional and learning foundations they’ll carry for life.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting children in EYFS through play-based learning and structured activities

  • Creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels included

  • Working with teachers and SENCOs to tailor support for pupils with additional needs

  • Encouraging independence, communication and social skills

  • Contributing to assessments and tracking progress in line with EYFS frameworks

What we’re looking for

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

  • Experience in an EYFS setting within a school or nursery

  • A warm, patient and creative approach to learning

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Someone who celebrates the little wins and brings positivity every day
