We’re working with a specialist school in Sunderland who are looking for a caring and motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. You’ll play a key role in supporting children with additional needs, helping them to feel confident, included, and ready to learn.

Your role will include:

  • Providing classroom support to pupils with SEND

  • Assisting with small-group and 1:1 learning activities

  • Supporting children with communication, behaviour, and social development

  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver consistent support

  • Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience supporting children in schools (SEND desirable)

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • A calm, patient, and flexible approach
