We’re looking for a caring, resilient Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Year 1 classroom just outside Bridgwater. You don’t need loads of experience—what matters most is your positive attitude and genuine desire to support children’s learning and wellbeing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Helping pupils with their classwork and building their confidence

  • Supporting the class teacher with learning activities and routines

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating every success

  • Creating a safe, happy environment where children can thrive

You’ll be great for this role if you:

  • Have a positive, supportive, and resilient nature

  • Enjoy working with young children and seeing them progress

  • Can adapt to different situations with patience and a smile

  • Have some experience in schools (helpful but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
