Your Role:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, SEMH or learning difficulties
  • Work alongside class teachers to adapt materials and resources
  • Foster independence and confidence in pupils through patient, consistent support
  • Support behaviour strategies and encourage positive classroom routines
  • Keep clear records of progress and contribute to EHCP reviews where needed
  • Help create an engaging, safe, and structured learning environment

About You:

  • Experience working with children or young people (ideally in schools, youth work, or SEN settings)
  • Passionate about supporting students with additional needs
  • Confident working 1:1 and in small group interventions
  • Resilient, empathetic, and adaptable – every day is different!
  • Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (desirable, not essential)
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and a calm, nurturing approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
