We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Skipton, working with pupils in Upper Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at a key stage in their learning, helping them build confidence and prepare for the move to secondary school.
What you’ll be doing

Providing 1:1 and small group support in Year 5 and Year 6

Assisting with English, maths and wider curriculum learning

Helping pupils develop independence and positive learning habits

Supporting behaviour, routines and emotional wellbeing

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support
What we’re looking for

Experience working with children in KS2 (school-based or similar setting)

A calm, patient and encouraging approach

Good literacy and numeracy skills to support learning

Someone who enjoys celebrating the little wins and building pupils’ confidence
