We’re looking for thoughtful, proactive Learning Support Assistants to join our partner primary schools across Southwark. If you’re the kind of person who spots when a child’s struggling and knows just how to help, we want to hear from you.

These are full-time roles where you’ll make a daily difference—supporting pupils with their learning, building their confidence, and helping classrooms run smoothly.

In this role, you’ll be:

  • Supporting children who need a boost with literacy, numeracy, or focus

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups, depending on needs

  • Helping teachers deliver lessons that reach every child

  • Encouraging, guiding, and celebrating every step of progress

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children (school or youth setting preferred)

  • A positive, calm approach and great communication skills

  • Confidence supporting pupils with varying needs

  • Patience, reliability, and a good sense of humour always helps!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
