Protocol Education are working with a school in Cheltenham to recruit Learning Support Assistants to work with children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 from September.

The children who require support will have different learning disabilities, so it will be advantageous if you have experience of working with children with additional needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting children in either a Reception or Year 3 class on a 1:1 basis
  • Working closely with the class teachers and SENDCo to deliver consistent support
  • Using various verbal and visual strategies to support the children in class
  • Helping to create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Candidates who are experienced in working with children in a primary school setting or SEN setting
