Learning Support Assistant – Secondary Schools
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

We’re on the lookout for a brilliant Learning Support Assistant to join secondary schools across Newcastle. This is a role where your patience, positivity and people skills really count.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting students in class, making sure everyone feels confident and included

  • Helping teachers deliver lessons and keep things running smoothly

  • Building trust with students who need a bit of extra encouragement

  • Bringing your calm, can-do attitude to every day

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people (school, youth work or similar)

  • A genuine interest in helping students overcome challenges

  • Someone reliable, positive, and ready to be part of a supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
