Teaching Assistant – Blyth Area
Northumberland | Full-Time, Term Time | £90–£110 per day | Secondary Setting

Looking for a role where your support goes beyond the classroom? We’re working with a dynamic secondary school in the Blyth area that’s big on ambition and even bigger on impact.

This school doesn’t settle for “good enough”—and neither should you. With a focus on high expectations, respect, and resilience, you’ll be joining a team where every student is encouraged to aim high and achieve more. And your role? To help make that happen, one learner at a time.

Your day-to-day will include:
✔️ Supporting students across a range of lessons and learning needs
✔️ Providing 1:1 or small group interventions where needed
✔️ Promoting independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
✔️ Collaborating with a skilled and passionate staff team

What we’re looking for:
Someone calm, reliable, and positive
Experience with young people (in education, youth work or care settings)
A flexible approach and a real belief in every child’s potential
Bonus points if you’ve worked with SEN students or understand trauma-informed support

Why this school?
This is a school where students wear their values on their sleeves—respect, self-belief, and hard work drive everything. You’ll be supported by a strong leadership team, benefit from clear routines, and play a vital role in helping learners overcome barriers to success.
