Be the difference where it matters most.

We’re working with a welcoming mainstream primary school that’s home to a thriving Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP)—a space that champions inclusivity, tailored support, and progress at every step.

The school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who’s calm under pressure, confident in the classroom, and genuinely committed to helping every child thrive. This is a role for someone who can build trust, adapt to individual needs, and create a positive, structured environment where pupils feel safe and supported.

What your day might look like:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to children with SEND, including autism and speech & language needs

  • Working closely with class teachers, therapists, and parents to build consistent support strategies

  • Helping create a safe, stimulating, and structured learning environment

  • Being a consistent, caring presence in a pupil’s day

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children with SEND (formal or informal—we know support comes in many forms)

  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach

  • Confidence in managing behaviour with warmth and consistency

  • Someone who believes every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported

Compliance essentials:

  • All successful applicants must have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through us)

  • You’ll also need to provide proof of right to work in the UK and satisfactory references
