The school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who’s calm under pressure, confident in the classroom, and genuinely committed to helping every child thrive. This is a role for someone who can build trust, adapt to individual needs, and create a positive, structured environment where pupils feel safe and supported.
What your day might look like:

Providing one-to-one or small group support to children with SEND, including autism and speech & language needs

Working closely with class teachers, therapists, and parents to build consistent support strategies

Helping create a safe, stimulating, and structured learning environment

Being a consistent, caring presence in a pupil’s day
What we’re looking for:

Experience working with children with SEND (formal or informal—we know support comes in many forms)

A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
-
Confidence in managing behaviour with warmth and consistency
-
Someone who believes every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported
Compliance essentials:

All successful applicants must have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through us)

You’ll also need to provide proof of right to work in the UK and satisfactory references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
