Learning Support Assistant – Be the Difference

Looking for a role where what you do really matters? We’re on the hunt for brilliant Learning Support Assistant who knows that sometimes the quiet wins are the biggest ones.

Whether it’s helping a pupil crack a tricky maths problem, building their confidence in class, or simply being the friendly face they can rely on, you’ll play a key part in their journey.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs—whether that’s on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Helping to break learning down in a way that makes sense and feels achievable.
  • Encouraging pupils to stay positive, stick with it, and celebrate every step forward.
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN teams to give the right support at the right time.

About You:

  • You’ve got experience working with children or young people (in schools, clubs, care, coaching—you name it!).
  • You’re calm, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping students feel confident and capable.
  • Experience in SEND settings is a bonus, but what matters most is your approach and energy.

What’s In It For You:

  • Long-term, full-time roles in schools that genuinely value their Learning Support Assistants.
  • Weekly PAYE pay (no umbrella faff).
  • FREE Thrive training and access to Protocol Education’s CPD Academy.
  • Support from a friendly local consultant who’s got your back.

Why You’ll Love It:

This isn’t just about classroom support—it’s about showing up, making connections, and helping pupils realise just how much they can achieve. You’ll be the steady hand, the positive nudge, and the person who makes school feel that bit brighter.
