We’re looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a Key Stage 2 pupil with visual impairment at a welcoming primary school in WF15. This is a long-term role with purpose, where your support will genuinely shape a child’s school experience.

What your day might look like:

  • Providing tailored support and adapting resources to meet the pupil’s needs

  • Supporting access to the curriculum through magnification tools, verbal description, and guided tasks

  • Encouraging independence while offering steady guidance

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning plans

  • Ensuring the child feels included, supported, and confident in every part of the school day

You’ll thrive here if you have:

  • Experience supporting children with visual impairments (QTVI training is a plus, but not essential)

  • A calm, positive manner and excellent communication skills

  • Confidence using or adapting learning materials for accessibility

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a difference
