Job Description:

Job Duties:

- Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting.

- Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students.

- Help students with tasks such as reading, writing, and using technology.

- Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to teachers.

- Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths.

- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

- Experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.

- Knowledge of special education practises and techniques.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Teaching Assistant (TA) is desired but not essential.

- First Aid certification is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
