We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) child in a reputable school in Colchester.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be an integral part of a child's educational journey, providing essential support to help them achieve their full potential. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a child with special educational needs, contributing to their personal and academic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to the identified child on a 1:1 basis.
- Assist the child with their learning, social, and emotional development.
- Implement strategies and resources to meet the child's specific needs.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the school's SEN team and classroom teacher.
- Monitor and record the child's progress and provide feedback to the school.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual learning styles.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
