We’re working with a brilliant secondary school in Telford that’s on the lookout for a Learning Mentor to join their specialist support team. This role is all about helping students overcome barriers, build confidence, and stay engaged in their learning journey.

What You’ll Be Doing:

One-to-one and small group mentoring with students who need that extra boost

Building trust and promoting inclusion across the school

Creating strategies to boost motivation, confidence, and classroom engagement

Collaborating with teachers and support staff to make sure every student gets the help they need
-
Keeping a close eye on progress and celebrating every win (big or small!)
What We’re Looking For:
-
Recent experience mentoring young people—whether in school, youth work, or similar
-
Resilience, reflection, and a cool head when challenges arise
-
A genuinely positive attitude and a belief in every student’s potential
-
Super organised and great at building relationships
Bonus Points For:

A degree in a relevant field

A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification
-
Training in mental health, counselling, or Thrive (and if not, don’t worry—we can help with that too!)
