KS2 Teaching Assistant | Lewisham | Primary Schools
Love a bit of long division and a good classroom debate? We’re on the lookout for KS2 Teaching Assistants ready to jump into action across Lewisham primary schools.
From Year 3 to Year 6, you’ll be supporting pupils through those big learning leaps—think tricky grammar, timestables, and SATs prep—with a calm presence and plenty of encouragement.
What the role involves:
-
Supporting teaching and learning in upper or lower KS2
-
Running small group activities in maths, reading, or writing
-
Providing 1:1 support for pupils who need extra help
-
Helping pupils build independence and classroom confidence
Who we’re looking for:
-
Experience working with primary-aged children (school, tutoring, clubs etc.)
-
Someone who’s confident supporting KS2 curriculum
-
A positive, proactive team player with a genuine passion for helping children progress
-
Reliable, friendly, and up for getting stuck in
A TA qualification is great, but not essential if you’ve got strong experience and the right energy.
DBS Reminder:
You’ll need a Child Workforce Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Not got one? We’ll help you sort it—quickly and easily.
