About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled KS2 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Shropshire. You will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum to pupils aged 7 to 11, helping them to build confidence and achieve strong academic progress in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs

  • Manage behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance pupil development

  • Encourage independence, creativity, and critical thinking among pupils

Who We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching KS2 pupils, with strong subject knowledge across core subjects

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Passionate about making a difference in children’s education and development

  • Ability to adapt lessons to suit diverse learning needs

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
