Responsibilities

  • Deliver well-planned, engaging lessons that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

  • Monitor and evaluate pupils’ progress to ensure they achieve their full potential.

  • Foster a secure, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

  • Modify teaching approaches and resources to accommodate diverse learner needs.

  • Keep detailed records of student achievements and communicate effectively with parents and school leaders.

  • Develop positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues to promote a collaborative school community.

  • Participate actively in school activities, including staff meetings, professional development, and events.

Candidate Profile

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6).

  • Possess a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 national curriculum.

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and engage students.

  • Be a reflective educator committed to ongoing professional growth.

  • Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Show a genuine passion for supporting pupils’ academic and personal development.
