Essential Criteria:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • Valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 3.
  • Strong understanding of the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment expectations.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and support all learners.
  • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities or curriculum enrichment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience teaching Year 3 curriculum content, including transition from Key Stage 1.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Supporting and guiding pupils to help them achieve their academic goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
  • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities or curriculum enrichment.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and support all learners.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
