About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Shropshire. You’ll deliver engaging and creative lessons to children aged 5 to 7, helping them develop key skills and a love of learning. You’ll play a vital role in creating a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports every child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated KS1 lessons that meet the needs of all learners

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Manage behaviour positively to maintain a calm and productive classroom

  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to support pupil development

  • Foster curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in pupils

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in KS1 or Early Years (placements count)

  • Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum and child development

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching

  • Commitment to inclusive education and helping all children thrive
