KS1 Teacher – Year 1 Class (North Sheffield)

We’re looking for a brilliant KS1 teacher who knows that Year 1 isn’t just the next step after Reception—it’s a big one. If you bring empathy, structure, and creativity to every lesson, we’ve got a class in North Sheffield that would love to meet you.

This role is perfect for someone who understands the balance between play-based learning and formal progress, and who knows how to make a classroom feel like home.

You’ll be a great fit if you…
• Hold QTS and have experience teaching KS1
• Know the National Curriculum inside out and can bring it to life in the classroom
• Understand how to support pupils transitioning from EYFS to Year 1
• Can spot when a child needs a little extra support—and adapt your approach
• Love seeing those “aha!” moments in action

What you’ll be doing:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Supporting all pupils to meet individual learning targets
• Marking work and tracking progress in a clear, consistent way
• Creating a classroom that feels welcoming, structured, and fun
• Communicating clearly with parents, colleagues, and other professionals
