Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for teaching and learning activities across Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11)

  • Work closely with individual students and small groups to enhance their confidence and academic progress

  • Assist the class teacher with lesson planning, preparation, and maintaining an organised classroom environment

  • Promote curiosity, independence, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning in every pupil

  • Previous experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils or working in a comparable educational role

  • Excellent communication skills combined with a patient and positive demeanor

  • Ability to develop strong, supportive connections with students, colleagues, and parents
