Are you a dedicated and adaptable individual passionate about supporting young learners? We are currently seeking enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team, providing invaluable support to Key Stage 1 (KS1) students in a variety of schools across Rochester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Classroom Teachers: Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of KS1 students.

  • Individual Support: Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance with their learning or development.

  • Promote Inclusion: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.


  • Previous Experience: While experience is preferred, we welcome applications from enthusiastic individuals with a passion for working with young children.

  • Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to working with children, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide encouragement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
