Our client are looking to appoint a teacher to work as part of their KS1 team. Experience teaching in year 1 is highly desirable but not a pre-requisite however, experience teaching in KS1 is essential.

About The Role

We are looking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who will bring energy and enthusiasm into the classroom in order to inspire and motivate pupils

To work collaboratively and successfully in our team and lead our Year 1 class.

Full-time, temporary maternity cover role for the coming academic year.

This role will require you to plan and deliver lessons, taking on responsibility for aspects of the Year 1 curriculum and all classroom responsibilities in accordance with the Teacher Standards.

To be responsible to the Key Stage 1 Leader.

To be proactive and enthusiastic team member, offering children experiences beyond the school day.

This is a great opportunity to join a great team and to work with fabulous pupils. Whilst experience in Year 1 desirable, it is not essential as we are looking for the ‘right’ teacher to join our dedicated and passionate KS1 team. However, experience teaching in Key Stage 1, a sense of fun and a strong work ethic is essential. Working as part of our KS1 team, a strong ECT with year 1 or KS1 experience would be considered for this post.
