Job Duties:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participating in staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and 2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Proficiency in using educational technology
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate certificate in Education
  • Experience working in a multicultural school environment

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting with regular school hours and term-time schedules. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
